Every year, small businesses across Ireland secure new business from markets outside Ireland. Key markets include NI, UK, mainland Europe and USA.
Local Enterprise Office Meath is on hand to facilitate the efforts of small businesses in County Meath to explore, target and exploit new business opportunities in markets outside Ireland.
The Export Accelerator Programme aims to provide participants with the skills, the confidence and the momentum to move from talking about exporting to actually doing it.

What will it involve?
The Programme is highly practical and will include:
- A series of export-focused skills development workshops
- One to one export mentoring from an experienced export development consultant who will assist you to:
- Pinpoint what you need to do to gear up to export.
- Select the most appropriate export market for your business.
- Develop a simple export plan that will serve as ‘a road-map’ for your business.
- An opportunity to present your export plan to a team of experts who will steer you towards further support on your exporting journey.
Who should apply?
The Programme is open to both first time exporters and businesses that are already generating some sales from customers outside Ireland.
You should apply if you:
- Own / manage a small business in County Meath.
- Believe that your products / services are likely to be attractive to non-local customers.
- Have the hunger to explore new business opportunities in markets like NI, UK or further afield.
