A brand new facility in providing shared flexible deskspace is now available for innovative entrepreneurs and start-up enterprises at the new Civic Offices in Roscommon town. This is another step in fostering and retaining the best entrepreneurs in the county, especially the many graduates that the county produces, who often have to leave in search of work opportunities or the necessary modern infrastructure to assist them to establish their own businesses.

Technical Assistance for Micro Exporter's Grant enables clients to explore and develop new market opportunities.

This grants part-funds the costs that can be incurred in investigating and researching export markets, e.g. exhibiting at Trade Fairs, preparing marketing material and developing websites specifically targeting overseas markets.

Brexit Information

Early planning and preparation is a critical factor in a company’s ability to respond to the business challenges that Brexit presents. The Brexit SME Scorecard online tool has been designed to stimulate companies into thinking about the key areas that may be impacted in their business because of Brexit and to self-assess their level of preparedness. Using the online tool micro and smaller businesses can self-diagnose whether they are ready for Brexit.

    GradStart Programme

    GradStart The objective of GradStart is to assist indigenous companies to scale and grow their businesses through the introduction of good graduate talent to deliver clearly defined projects. This offer will specifically target the graduate community and help companies attract additional graduate resources. GradStart will support companies with ambitious growth plans to employ up to three graduates on a rolling basis for a 2-year contract duration for each graduate. Graduates will have a minimum Level 6 qualification on the National Vocational Qualifications Framework or equivalent. The offer will be available to all Enterprise Ireland and Local Enterprise Office client companies client companies who meet the programme criteria. The graduate will complete a project as defined by the company and linked to their overall growth plan. The company will identify an in-company mentor to work with the graduates; they will provide an infrastructure that supports them, both in their development and in the completion of the project, for the duration of the graduate(s) employment. Graduates may work in any area of the business excluding roles related to sales and marketing activities. Graduate Application Process Companies are responsible for attracting, interviewing and hiring their own graduate(s). Enterprise Ireland has designed and developed a dedicated graduate website - www.Gradhub.ie where companies can advertise their own graduate opportunities to attract graduates.     Are you looking to Grow with Irish Business? Would you like mentoring from the Aldi Ireland Buying Department and Bord Bia? Do you want to partner with Aldi Ireland to be a supplier in all of our 141 stores nationwide? Grow with Aldi 2020 is kicking off and Aldi are hunting for keen Irish suppliers to develop their business. What is Grow with Aldi? Grow with Aldi is a supplier development programme for small/medium Irish suppliers developed in partnership with Bord Bia. What does this programme involve? Once your application is received by email, candidates will be selected to attend an Immersion day to pitch to our Aldi Buying Team. Products will be tasted and discussed post Immersion Day. Following this, approximately 30/40 suppliers will be selected to sell their product in approximately 145 Aldi stores (by summer 2020) nationwide on the 31/05/2020 as a Specialsbuy (usually two weeks on sale). Based on success and sell through of the products, 5 suppliers will be selected and granted the opportunity of a 12 month contract with Aldi to sell their products in all Aldi stores nationwide for 2021.
