Chambers Ireland invites Local Enterprise Offices to nominate companies for the upcoming European Parliament of Enterprises (EPE) 2014.
The EPE is being organised by EUROCHAMBRES and will bring together hundreds of entrepreneurs and businesses from across Europe. These entrepreneurs will become ‘Members of the European Parliament of Enterprises’ for one day, and will debate and vote on key issues of concern to European businesses in the Hemicycle. They will have the opportunity to interact with representatives of the European institutions and policy makers and provide direct feedback from a grassroots level. The general themes for discussion on the day are Internationalization, Skills, Finance, & Energy.
Chambers Ireland will bring a delegation of representatives from the Irish business community to participate in the EPE. We feel that this is an excellent opportunity for businesses to experience and gain a greater understanding of the work done by the European Parliament and its importance for Ireland.
As part of their visit, we will host an informal business breakfast on the morning of Thursday 16th October 2014. This will be an opportunity to engage with newly elected Irish MEPs to discuss the priorities for businesses at a national and European level.
