The Local Food and Craft Fair runs from Tuesday 24th November until 29th November 2026
Local Food & Craft Gift Fair returns to the Blackbox Theatre
Get ready for the biggest and most vibrant fair yet, this exciting event will showcase an incredible variety of artisan foods and handcrafted goods from talented producers across Galway City and County.

Application Deadline for Exhibitors:
Friday, 7th August 2026
All applicants will be contacted no later than 18th September 2026 regarding their applications. Instructions for payment and insurance details will be provided at this stage.
Payment from successful applicants must be received in full by 25th September 2026 along with proof of insurance.
Cost for the six days is EUR200 (inc) Thursday set up, opening reception on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Monday and Tuesday, Double Socket, Name Plate, Spotlights(2), TrestleTable (6ft x 2ft)and White table cloth.
Please note - stand booking is not confirmed until proof of payment is received.
As much as we would love to accommodate all stand requests, space is limited and we cannot guarantee inclusion for every applicant in the Black Box.
Please note that the judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.

Opening Times:
Tuesday 24th November from 3pm until 7pm
Wednesday 25th November from 10am until 7pm
Thursday 26th November from 10am until 6pm
Friday 27th November from 11am until 5pm
Saturday 28th from 10am until 5pm
Sunday 29th December from 10am until 4pm
Applicants must please note the following:
• Places are limited and each application will be assessed on: products which are created in Galway; quality; presentation and variety of products.
• There are considerably more applicants than places and we stress the importance of the quality and time spent on your application.
• We are looking for a range of products from many disciplines, showing a unique, exciting and creative display of work, for sale at affordable prices.
• We do not book too many similar crafts or food. Nothing worse than turning up to find you are competing with several people who do exactly the same thing as you, and not exactly exciting for the visitors and prospective buyers coming through the door who are expecting to see a variety of different stands.
Participation in previous fairs does not guarantee a stand at this year’s event. All applications will be reviewed, and the judges’ decision is final.
• Stand holders are required to follow a social media plan provided by the LEO to promote the event for the three weeks prior to the event commencing on Sunday 1st 2026.
• Access to the site will be available from 10.00am and stands must be set up by 3.00pm on Tuesday 24th November to facilitate the official launch of the Gift Fair commencing at 4.00pm. - Subject to change.
• Departure (get out) will be available until 6.00pm by which time all stands must have vacated the premises on Sunday 29th 2026. THE EXHIBITOR SHALL AFFECT APPROPRIATE INSURANCE COVER AND SHALL PROVIDE TO THE ORGANISER, ON DEMAND, SATISFACTORY DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE THEREOF.
THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL AND NO CORRESPONDENCE SHALL BE ENTERED INTO.
