SMEs from across Laois came together at the Resilient Business Breakfast for Laois SMEs: Practical Actions for Growth in the Current Environment, held at the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise on Tuesday, 20th October.

This breakfast session focused on providing SMEs with practical insights and strategies to strengthen resilience, identify growth opportunities and make confident business decisions in an evolving economic environment. Led by Susan Hayes Culleton, CFA, Managing Director of Hayes Culleton, the session combined real-world business experience with actionable advice to help business owners and managers navigate challenges and plan for future growth.

Key topics included accessing Priming & Business Expansion Grants, Grow Digital Vouchers, using AI to improve productivity in an ever-changing environment, and exploring opportunities for partnerships and export development through supports such as the Enterprise Europe Network. The session highlighted the importance of taking a practical, forward looking approach to business development, equipping SMEs with ideas and tools they can apply directly to their own business.
