Cavan Local Enterprise Office was established by the Government in April 2014, to help promote and encourage local enterprise development.

Cavan Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is one of 31 Local enterprise offices nationwide (http://www.localenterprise.ie/) . The LEO network is funded by the Government's Department of Jobs, Enterprise, & Innovation (http://www.djei.ie/), and part financed by the EU.

The key focus for LEO's under national policy is supporting 'microenterprises' ( i.e. enterprises with no greater than 10 employees). The manufacturing and traded services sectors are priority areas for support.
