Cavan Local Enterprise Office is conscious of the need to enhance the employment creation potential, survival capacity and general up-skilling of small businesses and their employees by improving management capabilities and addressing their needs in areas such as marketing, product development, sales, finance, administration, innovation, exporting, general management development and the establishment of management information systems.
To assist small business in meeting the challenges of the business world, the Cavan LEO provides a wide range of training supports which are tailored to meet specific business requirements. Cavan LEO offers a spring and autumn schedule of courses every year which include a broad range of one day workshops, seminars, evening courses and more comprehensive management development programmes e.g. Accelerate Programme.
Examples of courses available include: - Start Your Own Business (SYOB), Sales & Marketing, Basic Bookkeeping, Introduction to VAT for Small Business, Computerised Accounts, Social Media for Small Business, Business Planning, and How To Tender Successfully etc.. Training courses range from short one day courses to longer management development programmes. Courses are run mainly in the evening time and are held at Cavan Innovation & Technology Centre.
How to Book on a Training Course...
Training courses are open to people interested in starting a business in County Cavan or have an existing business in County Cavan. Priority for training course places will be given to companies with less than 10 employees.
