A call for applications for design led start-up companies, using design as a strategic element will open on Wednesday 15th July 2015 and will close at 3pm on Wednesday 29th July 2015.

The “Competitive Start Fund – Design” is being delivered by Enterprise Ireland as part of the ID2015 programme and will provide up to €50,000 in equity support, aimed at start-ups in manufacturing or internationally traded services that are design-led or utilise design as a strategic competitive advantage.  

The fund will provide new companies with early stage funding to ensure delivery of their design-based product or service.  It was launched on July 2nd by Minister for Business and Employment, Ged Nash TD at the opening of the Fresh Talent exhibition at Dublin Castle. 

A Public call for applications to the new Enterprise Ireland €250,000 fund to support the creation of design-based start-up companies will open tomorrow, Wednesday 15th July and the closing time and date for receipt of applications will be 3pm on Wednesday 29th July 2015.
