Mark Fitzharris - Head of AIB Cork City

Mark is the Head of AIB for Cork City where he is responsible for the Personal and SME customer base. Mark and his team are focused on meeting all of their customers financial needs, working with them to support their growth plans and helping to provide solutions to their challenges. Mark has many years of experience in the financial services sector and has worked across a variety of Retail, Business and Commercial Banking roles as well as on strategic change initiatives. Mark has a Masters in Business from Trinity College and is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers.

 

Paul Ward, Senior Manager, AIB Commercial & Business Treasury Cork

Paul has over 15 years of Banking and Treasury experience. During this time Paul has worked in a number of Treasury Relationship Management roles, dealing with businesses of all sizes across all sectors. Paul is currently Senior Manager at AIB Commercial & Business Treasury Cork, responsible for delivering AIB's Treasury proposition throughout the region, and for managing the local Treasury Services team. Paul holds an honours degree in Business Management from the Institute of Technology.

 

Kieran O'Byrne, Manager, AIB Trade Finance Services

Kieran joined AIB in 1981 and soon after joined their Trade Finance team where he built up an extensive knowledge of the International Trade Business. He has considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of international trade and can advise on all products across the spectrum from the generic to the structured. He is responsible for the delivery of AIB's trade products and is supported by a team that provide help and advice to customers who import and/or export. He is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce Irish Banking committee, Irish Asia trade forum and the Irish Exporters Association.

 

Tom Early – Senior Investment Adviser, Banking Relationships, EI

Tom works as a strategic and financial adviser to EI client companies.  He has a strong track record in assisting clients from a wide variety of sectors at various stages in their lifecycle, in the development and implementation of their growth strategy, helping them to identify and secure the most appropriate form of finance necessary to achieve scale. 

Prior to joining Enterprise Ireland, Tom worked for over 9 years across multiple industries including telecoms, banking and consulting.  

Tom is a qualified CIMA Accountant, holds Masters of business from the IMI and a degree in Business studies (specialising in Economics & Finance) from Waterford Institute of Technology.  In addition Tom has completed executive training courses in IMD (Switzerland) and EVCA.
