Workshop for Competitive Start Fund Applicants-16th September

A call for applications for those active in the Manufacturing and Internationally Traded Services sectors including the following subsectors:  Internet, Games, Apps, Mobile, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Software, Lifesciences, Food, Cleantech and Industrial Products will open on Wednesday 21st September 2016 and close at 3pm on Wednesday 5th October 2016. 

The Competitive Start Fund (CSF) aims to support early stage start-ups. The fund is open to applications from early stage companies who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the link:

 To assist companies interested in applying for this CSF,  on Friday, 16th September,  EI South will run a workshop on the CSF application process & scoring. The  workshop also aims to assist promoters develop content for the application, focusing on  the value proposition and messaging.

  • Annemarie Coogan from EI’s  High Potential Start Up department, with responsibility for CSF’s  will outline the application document and the application process, and how EI scores applications.  
  • A recently successful CSF applicant will also present and give their personal insights into the CSF.
  • Jackie Gowran of Business IQ will assist promoters develop content for the application, focusing  on content development around the proposed messaging and value proposition.

 The workshop will be held on Friday, 16th September, from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm.
