How to reduce food waste in your business 

Food waste is a global issue, having negative impacts on the environment, society, and the economy.

One quarter of the food that is produced worldwide is lost or wasted.

If you are a food sector business and want to take action to reduce your food waste join us for a free information webinar presented by Colum Gibson of Clean Technology Centre at MTU.

Colum Gibson, is the manager of MTU’s Clean Technology Center and has been working in the area of food waste for over 15 years. He has worked on this important topic both nationally and internationally, with local authorities, communities and a range of food service and production companies. Colum managed the Stop Food Waste programme for over a decade and currently leads the EPA’s Food Waste Charter work. CTC runs the Savour Food Programme and supports the HSE, through the Green Healthcare programme, in addressing food waste. Colum is a founding member and current board member of FoodCloud.
