New Women in Business Programme 2016

 

As part of our ongoing commitment to women in business, this business development programme is specifically for women in business, across all sectors. It is aimed at the woman in business, owner/manager of a small business, employing 1 to 10 employees. Ideally those running their own business with 12 months +. Those participating on this programme will already have completed our standard Start your own business programme.

This programme will be ideal for those who wish to broaden and develop their knowledge in the areas of: business planning, finance, costing & pricing, sales & marketing, employment law, social media and public relations. It will also cover time management, personal development, planning and organizational development, leadership and innovation.

Over the course of 10 training sessions, you will work with the trainers to assist you in growing, developing or diversifying your business. There will be a group of 15 women in business, partaking in the training programme and this will provide great networking opportunities within the group.

This programme is ideal if you are currently facing challenges within your business or if you are at a stage of changing some of your product or service offerings, where you need direction, guidance and support.

  • The subsidised cost of partaking in this programme is €150.
  • Places are limited to 15 clients per Local Enterprise Office and are open to those either within the North Cork or the West Cork catchment areas only. Both the Mallow and the Clonakilty office will be providing this programme in the North Cork and West Cork catchment areas, during 2016.
  • After the closing date for receipt of applications, the application forms will be reviewed and shortlisted. If you are shortlisted to partake in the programme, you will then have an interview with your Local Enterprise Office to ascertain your suitability for the programme.
  • Free information and launch event in Clonakilty on Tuesday 8th March 2016, 9.30am-11.00am.
  • Confirmed Programme Dates: Tuesday 5th, 19th April; 3rd, 17th, 31st May; 14th, 28th June; 12th, 26th, July and 9th August 2016.
