FABLAB Manorhamilton in conjunction with the Leitrim Sculpture Centre invite you to participate in a 3 part course on the application and use of innovative technologies in a Fab Lab setting. Over the course of 3 weekends participants will get to understand how emerging technologies such as 3D printing and scanning, laser cutting, CNC tools, physical computing and the Internet of Things are transforming the way we think, design and build products and artefacts.Using examples from the Fab Lab networks around the world and work produced by the course tutors, you will gain valuable insights, tips and hands-on experience in using these new technologies. Each weekend will focus on a different aspect of Digital Fabrication. Fab Lab machines, tools and prototyping boards will be used throughout the course to demonstrate real world use cases and give participants the chance to try out the techniques.
