Student Enterprise Awards

The Student Enterprise programme encourages entrepreneurship at second level schools. Each school year, students from all schools in Co. Leitrim are invited to participate in the programme which sees students establish mini businesses. The programme teaches students about all the aspects of running a business from market research, business planning, finance, sales and marketing etc. The county final is held in March each year and winners from it progress to the National Final in April held in Croke Park.

This programme is supported by the Local Enterprise Office across the country as well as significant involvement by the teachers in the school without whom it would be almost impossible to run the programme.
