Currently as the economy improves more and more new job opportunities are becoming available in the Leitrim region. As a result the Local Enterprise Office Leitrim in partnership with the Department of Social Protection are pleased to announce that a Jobs Fair will take place on Thursday 1st October 2015 in The Landmark Hotel, Carrick on Shannon.
The Jobs Fair event will assist those looking for a job and give an opportunity to engage directly with employers with job offers. The event will also showcase the array of training and education opportunities that are available in the region.
The 2015 Jobs Fair builds on similar events, in particular the very successful event in June 2014. The Jobs Fair promises to showcase the job opportunities available in Leitrim and surrounding counties at present. In addition local agencies will be present offering support and advice to employees and employers and those considering self employment.
Similar to the previous events the Fair will host companies with situations vacant including VistaMed Ltd, Abbott Longford and Finesse Medical to name but a few. Recruitment agencies with vacancies will also be in attendance. The event offers a chance to view job opportunities available in the region - under one roof on one day.
Agencies available on the day include the Local Enterprise Office, Leitrim Development Company, Department of Social Protection , Education and Training Board (ETB) etc.
The Fair will showcase job opportunities in the region, third level courses available, opportunities to retrain as well as giving the public a chance to speak to the enterprise agencies for those considering self-employment.
