Monday 7th March starts the week with a Youth Enterprise theme, as dozens of students from Secondary Schools across Co. Leitrim will have the opportunity to showcase the mini businesses they’ve developed over the past six months as part of the Student Enterprise Awards Programme. The winners at this County Final event in Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories will go on to represent Co. Leitrim at the National Final in April in Croke Park. Also on Monday is Facebook for Business - Beginners training course.
On Tuesday 8th March, the County Final of the National Enterprise Awards will acknowledge the achievements of micro-enterprises and their valuable contribution to communities across the county. The winner from this event will represent Leitrim at a regional final, and if successful represent the region at a National Final in Dublin in June. Other events on Tuesday include Green Business workshop in Mohill and Get Export Ready seminar in Carrick on Shannon.
Scheduled on Wednesday 9th March is a Breakfast Briefing on What you need to know about Company Law which will give an overview of the changes to the Companies Act and is relevant to both new and existing Company Directors.
Taking place on Thursday 10th March is an exciting new workshop on Content, Imagery and the Power of Story telling, as well as a Start Your Own Business training programme (which will continue one day per week for 6 weeks) and a Leitrim Business Network quarterly meeting.
Rounding of the week on Friday 11th March, will be a Breakfast Briefing on Sources of Finance with speakers from AIB, Local Enterprise Office and Micro Finance Ireland.
