Event Overview:

Organizations that prioritize inclusion see up to 50% lower turnover and 39% higher employee satisfaction, according to Deloitte.
  • Pete Wharmby is an author, speaker, creative entrepreneur, and advocate for neurodiversity in work and life. He will explain how small, strategic changes in recruitment and workplace practices can unlock access to a highly capable yet often-overlooked talent pool: neurodivergent individuals, who make up 20% of the global population (WHO).
  • Inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s a smart business strategy.

Why Should You Attend This Workshop:

  • Learn how small, strategic changes in recruitment can attract and retain top talent from underrepresented groups.
  • Understand the impact of inclusive job descriptions and flexible interview techniques in accessing neurodivergent talent.
  • Identify practical ways to make simple workplace accommodations that can increase productivity by up to 30% (Harvard Business Review).
  • Learn how communication strategies can better support diverse thinking and working styles across teams.
  • Identify tools to manage difficult conversations with empathy, reducing conflict and enhancing team cohesion.
  • Learn how to foster a psychologically safe culture where employees feel seen, valued, and supported — reducing absenteeism and increasing turnover
  • Hear how inclusive practices directly improve employee satisfaction, loyalty, and overall business performance.

A Neuro-Inclusive Event Experience

  • LEO Leitrim is committed to practicing what we teach — that inclusion starts with simple, thoughtful choices. That’s why this event is being held in a neuro-inclusive space, designed to show how small, low or no-cost accommodations can have a powerful impact on comfort, participation, and belonging.

Here’s what to expect:

  • No social engagement required – You’re welcome just as you are, whether you want to connect or keep to yourself.
  • Dedicated Quiet Zone – A calm space to read, work, or recharge — no pressure to engage.
  • Choice of ways to participate – Contribute in the way that suits you best: observe, engage in small groups, or reflect quietly.
  • Submit questions in writing – No need to speak out loud to be heard if you do not feel comfortable doing so.
  • Soft lighting – A gentler environment designed to reduce sensory stress.
  • No forced ice breakers – This is a welcoming, interactive workshop, but you’ll never be pushed into uncomfortable activities.
