Entrepreneurs Day, Dublin, June 11th

Standing Out from the Crowd - Funding, Innovation and Leadership

As part of ICSB 2014 World Entrepreneurship Conference, Dublin Institute of Technology are organising a dedicated Entrepreneurs Day on Wednesday June 11th. This event is targeted at those entrepreneurs who wish to learn first-hand how successful entrepreneurs have grown their businesses from start-ups to commercially thriving operations. The programme will focus on creativity, funding, leadership and innovation (as applicable to all businesses) as the key themes of the event. There will also be an opportunity to get a better understanding of the power of social media for your business.

This extensive programme will include addresses from Raomal Perera on how to raise money through successful crowd funding campaigns and Nigel Newman encouraging lateral thinking and reimagining success. Serial entrepreneur Noelle O’Connor and Dragon’s Den star Gavin Duffy give their insights into building successful businesses in Ireland while the final address of the day will be given by Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey who are serial entrepreneurs, industry reformers, successful brand builders, and co-founders of hugely successful Barefoot Cellars.

Our vision for the day is that entrepreneurs will be able to talk practically with fellow entrepreneurs and leave with a better understanding of good leadership skills, new problem solving techniques and a fresh approach to social media for success. It is a day from which each attending entrepreneur will return to their business with a handful of new ideas that can be readily implemented. It is designed specifically by entrepreneurs for the benefit of entrepreneurs and their business!

Attendance Fee: Entrepreneurs’ Day Fee (1st April onwards) - €125 & VAT 23% = €153.75

**Registration for Entrepreneurs’ Day entitles admittance to the closing plenary of ICSB, Saturday 14th June.
