Offaly Product Design Exhibition Opens

2015 has been designated Year of Irish Design. To celebrate it, the Local Enterprise Office is showcasing details of products designed by Offaly companies. The exhibition highlights the diverse range of design and manufacturing capability in the County, and celebrates innovation in all its forms.

The exhibition is taking place throughout the week of 23rd to 27th February in the Atrium of Offaly County Council - a building that has received its own design awards. Members of public are invited to see the design expertise used to develop and refine both ordinary and extraordinary products. Bed mattresses (designed and manufactured in Tullamore), blast pots, agricultural machinery, magnetic stylus pens, recycling trucks, innovative packaging, drones, low cost LED lighting solutions, and computer apps are just some of the products showcased, and all are designed in Offaly.

To see innovation in action, pop into the exhibition in Offaly County Council offices, Áras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore. This exhibition is free and open to the public 9am to 4pm each day.
