This session will focus on the range of financial supports available to micro enterprises, the eligibility criteria and how to apply. It will cover the different types of funding available (both grant aid and bank finance and non-traditional forms of finance), for the various stages in business development and which type is most appropriate for each stage.

  • • Grant aid available- LEO grants, Partnership/Leader, SW, BTWEA, Enterprise Ireland. Eligibility and how grants are administered
  • • Bank type finance: Loans, leases, HP, Microfinance Ireland, SBCI, invoice discounting and factoring
  • • Non traditional: Crowd funding options

• Investors – different types of investors, where to find the right one for your business, tax reliefs available
