Local Enterprise Office Offaly are running a series of Free One to One Mentoring sessions (60 mins duration) on 7th March 2019.

People are at the heart of every organisation - usually the company's most valuable resource, and source of competitive advantage.  The team you build is often the key to business success.  They can make you or literally break you!  As an employer in Ireland, you have serious and legally mandated responsibilities to your employees.  Are you fully complying with the law, and ensuring that you do not create problems for your business later?  

Book a one to one mentoring session with Fiona Brown-Johnson, HR expert and a long time mentor with the Local Enterprise Office.  If you are about to recruit or hire your first employees, you may benefit from a general overview, or you can cover any of these specific areas:

• Terms of employment/contracts.

• Employee issues/management.

• Grievance/discipline/dignity at work policy documentation.

• New legislation.

• Best practice HR

The Local Enterprise Office will be in touch with you to confirm your time slot for the mentoring session.  

The time slots are:

• 9.30am
• 10.30am
• 11.30am
• 1.30pm
• 2.30pm
• 3.30pm 

We are also running clinics on Health and Safety and Taxation on 5th March 2019.  Book 1, 2 or 3 of the sessions.  

The mentor is Fiona Brown Johnson who has been on our mentoring panel for many years.
