This half day session will address:
- What is mindfulness and why it can be of practical benefit,
- How the mind works and the role it plays in how we feel and behave,
- Moving out of the comfort zone and building healthy habits,
- How to STOP and connect to “What is” in the now,
- Develop a mindful approach to dealing with unwanted pressure and increase the ability to relax and experience calm,
- How to use mindfulness for effective time management, dealing with difficult people and making decisions,
- Mindfulness practices including the body scan meditation, guided meditation, mindful breathing and movement, attention focus, connecting to silence, mindful awareness – walking, eating, sitting, etc, sense awareness, thought observation, etc.
