Stress Management, Mindfulness and building Resilience.

Resilience is about being able to persevere through setbacks, deal with stress, take on challenges and risk making mistakes to reach a goal.  This session looks at the way we behave, what causes us stress and offers practical tools and techniques to build personal resilience in the face of stressful situations.


This course will address:

  • How to recognise stress and how to cope with its debilitating effects in yourself and others.
  • How to differentiate between rational and irrational behaviour - anxiety, worry, fear etc.
  • How to become more mindful and live in the "now.
  • How to identify and management the source of our stress - out thoughts.
  • How to challenge unhelpful beliefs, opinions, thoughts and attitudes in the management of stress.
  • Resilience and the key behaviours of resilient people.
  • Effective coping and management strategies for "robustness".
  • How to develop both a "flexibility" and "opportunity" mindset.
  • How to find the time to deal with all the "stuff"!
  • The importance of SAFE for effective management in time (Structure, Attitude, Focus, Energy).
  • How to get out of your own way and restore a healthy work/life balance.
  • how to use mindfulness to increase energy, attention and create a reality of value, meaning and purpose.
