This online 12 session programme is designed to provide participants with the skills, tools, and knowledge to develop and implement a results-driven digital marketing strategy that supports business growth. Throughout the training, participants will gain a clear understanding of how to plan, execute, and measure effective digital marketing activity across key channels. 12 session online Digital Marketing Programme

By combining strategic insight with practical application, the programme empowers participants to confidently manage their digital marketing in-house, improve performance, and achieve measurable results.

This training programme will equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge to:

  • Develop a clear, integrated digital marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and customer journeys, and confidently implement, manage, and measure campaigns.
  • Review and improve current digital marketing activity to achieve better results and return on investment.
  • Create customer personas and use them to design targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and produce effective content using proven frameworks and AI tools for ideas, creation, and repurposing.
  • Build and grow a strong social media presence across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok/Reels), running engaging campaigns that foster community interaction.
  • Design, run, and optimise paid campaigns on social media and Google Ads (Search, Display, and Video) to attract and convert valuable audiences.
  • Increase website visibility through effective SEO strategies and on-page/off-page best practices.
  • Improve website performance through Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and better user experience to turn visitors into leads and sales.
  • Use video confidently for marketing, from short clips to longer formats, covering planning, production basics, and publishing.
  • Build and manage email lists effectively, run compliant campaigns, and use automation for better engagement.
  • Measure results using Google Analytics (GA4), set clear KPIs, create dashboards, and use insights to guide future activity.
  • Share knowledge and upskill colleagues to support effective teamwork and consistent execution.
  • Brief and manage a digital marketing agency and/or website development team to deliver against strategy and KPIs.

Module1: Digital Marketing Strategy Review & Development

Module 2: Instagram & Facebook for Business

Required by participants for the session - Instagram: App downloaded to phone & logged in. Facebook: logged in on laptop/PC browser (Facebook.com) and on the app.

Module 3: LinkedIn for Business Networking & Acquisition

Required by participants for the session - Logged into their LinkedIn account on laptop/pc browser on LinkedIn.com.

Module 4: Reels, TikTok & Using Video for Business Marketing

Required by participants for the session - The Instagram & TikTok apps downloaded to phone & logged in.

Module 5: Using AI, Content Marketing & Canva

Required by participants for the session - Canva account created and logged in on browser on Canva.com. ChatGPT account created and logged in on browser on ChatGPT.com.

Module 6: Social Media Advertising

Required by participants for the session - Facebook: logged in on laptop/PC browser (Facebook.com) and on the app

Module 7: Email Marketing & WhatsApp Marketing

Required by participants for the session - Will advise the previous week.

Module 8: Website Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) & User Experience (UX)

Required by participants for the session - Be able to access own website on the laptop/PC browser.  It is not mandatory to have a website. This session can help attendees plan a website if they don’t have one. 

Module 9: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Required by participants for the session - Be able to access own website on a laptop/PC browser.  Not mandatory to have a website. This session can help attendees plan their website's SEO if they don’t have one. 

Module 10: Google Advertising – Search, Display & Video

Required by participants for the session - Have created and can access Google Ads account via laptop/PC browser. Assistance will be provided in creating account if needed. 

Module 11: Google Analytics

Required by participants for the session - Have created and can access Google Analytics account via laptop/PC browser. Assistance will be provided in creating account if needed. 

Module 12: Strategy Refinement & Close
