NOTE: In order to participate on Remote Training, you must have access to reliable Wifi, have a microphone & camera on your laptop/tablet. Having both your camera and microphone on facilitates an interactive workshop, thereby enhancing learning and making for a more enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

COURSE AIM: This course  will help you design & develop a simple  budgeting, costing system for your product/services provided.  

COURSE OBJECTIVES: This is a practical programme.to provide an understanding of calculating costs and actual price. At the end of this course the participants will be able to:

• Understand budgets and how they can help your business
• Different types of budgets
• Variance analysis
• Pricing your product or service
• Review their costing procedures and breakeven point
• Explain the nature and behaviour of different costs
• Absorb overheads into product or service cost
• Assess current costing and pricing procedures and prepare to make amendments where appropriate
• Explore different methods of pricing
• Pricing for profit
• Factors to consider when pricing a job/product, e.g. customer, competition, product/service
• Pricing and the market including pricing tactics –
• How Price affects cashflow
• Review your breakeven point

Templates provided for budgeting, costing, time management, breakeven analysis, profit monitoring and overhead budgeting.
