Introduction:
Are you passionate about food and dreaming of launching your very own food start up. If so, this fast-moving half day in person workshop is targeted at anyone thinking about starting a food business, or those within the first 24 months of doing so and will provide a roadmap of the possible journey ahead. Whether you are just at idea stage or are a dab hand in the kitchen and want to explore turning your product idea into a business opportunity, this short half day session is for you.
Guest Speaker: A Cavan based food entrepreneur will also tell their story on how they started their food business and will share tips and advice.

The content is diverse enough to be relevant to those interested in starting a cafe/restaurant, food trucks, selling at farmers markets, supplying shops and foodservice operators or those with an interest in Ecommerce direct selling.

- Where to sell your product – getting your product to the customer from farmers markets right through to supplying the retailers, cafes etc.
- Exploring the basic tools to get started.
- Ensuring you have the right product and can make a profit.
- Understanding the basic legal requirements.
- Guest Speaker: A local food producer will also tell their story on how they started their food business and share tips and advice.
