Trainer profile

Theresa Mulvihill is a Business Consultant working with Irish Businesses for over 22 years. She has vast experience of working with Irish Businesses from idea concept and early stage start up to the development of International Markets.   Theresa primarily works with, and on behalf of Irish Business through our Irish support network for Business, mainly Local Enterprise Offices and Enterprise Ireland. After working with Irish companies for 10 years, in 2012, Theresa decided to focus on working with Irish business to develop strategies for Internationalisation. In 2012, she returned to the University of Limerick and completed a Master in International Entrepreneurship. As part of this Academic study Theresa identified the importance of clustering in helping Irish business to scale their businesses. Today, Theresa has contracts for the Management of the Emerald Aero Group Cluster, an Irish Aerospace Cluster making significant headway in the Global Aerospace Market, Management of The Engenuity Midlands Engineering Cluster and held the contract for the development and growth of LINC, Mid-West Engineering Cluster covering East/ West Limerick and North Cork.

Founder of a small company, Smart Marketing Limited, located in Rural Ireland employing 4 people directly Theresa understands the challenges and opportunities faced by Irish Business in today’s Economic climate. She has earned a reputation for delivering success with a practical and solution focused approach, delivering what matter most for the Business in hand. Theresa wins 70% of her business from public tenders, 80% of repeat business. The remaining 30% of business comes from referrals.
