Digitalising Your Food Manufacturing Business: A Practical Live Demonstration

This practical online session will demonstrate how small food manufacturers can use simple, low-cost digital tools to improve how they manage their day-to-day operations.

Using a fictional food manufacturing business, the session will demonstrate an end-to-end digital workflow covering purchasing, goods receipt, production, batch and ingredient traceability, sales orders, picking, delivery notes, finished goods stock and invoicing.

The focus is not on promoting a particular software product, but on showing what is possible and the practical middle ground between paper and spreadsheets and a full ERP system.

The session will be delivered by John O’Shanahan of LeanBPI, who has over a decade of experience working with small businesses on Lean, process improvement, and practical digital adoption.
