LEO Fingal has again called for businesses that have difficulty raising finance to apply to the LEO for Microfinance Ireland loans of up to €25,000. By applying through the Local Enterprise Office, applicants get a 1% discount on the interest rate. Also, importantly, the LEO will appoint an independent advisor to help with the application process. If your loan is approved, you can also avail of free mentor support with a designated expert from the LEO Fingal Mentor Panel.
Microfinance Ireland (MFI) is a not-for-profit lender, assisting small businesses in Ireland with unsecured business loans of €2,000 to €25,000. You can apply for an MFI loan through LEO Fingal and avail of a 1% discount off the standard interest rate (currently 7.8% APR) bringing the rate to 6.8% APR. Support will be provided.
