New Business Network Established to Support Fingal’s Local Business Community

Local Enterprise Office Fingal has launched an exciting new networking platform designed specifically for Fingal business owners and managers. Fingal Business Network is a fresh, new business networking platform which will host quarterly in-person business networking events.

The launch of the new networking platform took place on Tuesday 27^th of September at the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport. Motivational Speaker Paul McNeive was on hand to detail his own journey in rehabilitation hospital and how he now sources motivation and positivity in his life. Facilitated by Noel Davidson, the networking event provided over 100 attendees with the opportunity to connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs in a relaxed and supportive setting which also featured a finger-food buffet.

Mayor of Fingal Cllr Howard Mahony attended to officially launch the new network and spoke about how “Fingal has an active, thriving business community so it’s great to see the launch of a platform such as Fingal Business Network which will allow local entrepreneurs to engage and interact with each other and forge new business opportunities”

Speaking at the launch event Oisin Geoghegan, Head of Enterprise at Local Enterprise Office Fingal commented “At LEO Fingal we strive to encourage business owners in the locality to form connections with fellow business owners in the local area which is why Fingal Business Network has been established. Fingal Business Network acts as a fantastic platform for local businesspeople to mingle with their peers and share their own stories and knowledge”

Local Enterprise Office (LEO)  

The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) in Fingal is part of a network of 31 Local Enterprise Offices nationwide, located within the Local Authority structure. The Fingal office is one of the largest and most active LEOs in the country. The role of the LEO is to support and provide assistance to existing and potential small business promoters located in Fingal, North County Dublin. In addition, the Fingal LEO aims to foster the development of an enterprise culture. The LEOs operate under a service level agreement with Enterprise Ireland. Local Enterprise Office Fingal is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
