Programme Overview: 

The Thrive Beyond the Voucher Programme is a practical, outcome-driven training and mentoring initiative designed to support small businesses in Leitrim to build on their existing digital foundations and achieve measurable improvements in their online presence, marketing effectiveness, and use of AI. This programme is specifically designed to help businesses move beyond initial supports such as the Trading Online Voucher by providing structured guidance, hands-on training, and tailored mentoring. Participants will leave the programme with a clear, prioritised Digital Marketing & AI Action Plan that can be implemented immediately within their business. 

Delivery Format:

• Session 1: In-person workshop (The Hive Enterprise Centre, Dublin Road, Carrick on Shannon, County Leitrim, N41 FD83) 
• Sessions 2 & 3: Live online delivery (via Zoom) 
• Mentoring: 2 × one-to-one mentoring sessions per participating business 
• Additional Supports: 
  • Session recordings available for playback 
  • Dedicated WhatsApp support group for participants 

Programme Objectives: 

The programme is designed to enable participants to:

• Improve the effectiveness of their website and online presence 
• Simplify and prioritise digital marketing activity 
• Understand and apply AI tools in a practical, safe, and relevant way 
• Develop a clear and realistic digital marketing strategy aligned to their business goals 

Programme Structure & Content: 

Session 1 (In-Person in The Hive Enterprise Centre, Dublin Road, Carrick on Shannon, County Leitrim, N41 FD83) - Website, Customer Journey & Online Presence Fundamentals

Objective: To ensure participants’ websites and online presence are clear, credible and designed to convert visitors into customers.

Key Topics Covered:

• How customers find and evaluate businesses online 
• Website best practice (structure, messaging, clarity) 
• Understanding the customer journey from first interaction to conversion 
• Using AI to improve website content and messaging 
• Introduction to performance measurement (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console) 

Session 2 (Online) - Digital Marketing Made Simple: Visibility, Content & Channels

Objective: To help participants focus on a small number of high-impact marketing activities that drive visibility and engagement.

Key Topics Covered:

• How customers discover businesses (search, social, referrals) 
• Selecting the right marketing channels 
• Social media strategy without overwhelm 
• Introduction to content planning 
• Overview of paid promotion (high-level) 

Session 3 (Online) - AI, Customer Experience & Action Planning

Objective:  To bring together all learning and support participants in developing a structured and actionable plan.

Key Topics Covered:

• Mapping and improving the full customer journey 
• Practical use of AI across marketing, sales, and operations 
• Planning and prioritising activity 
• Setting measurable goals and tracking progress

One-to-One Mentoring (2 × 1 Hour Sessions per Business)

Each participating business will receive tailored mentoring support to refine and implement their plan.

Mentoring Focus:

• Reviewing and strengthening the action plan 
• Prioritising actions based on time, budget, and resources 
• Feedback on website, content, and marketing channels 
• Practical support in applying AI tools 

Mentoring Deliverables:

• Finalised Digital Marketing & AI Action Plan 
• Clear priorities and timelines 
• Customised AI tools and prompt recommendations 

Participant Requirements:

To maximise the value of the programme, participants will be asked to:

• Bring a laptop to all sessions (particularly the in-person session) 
• Set up accounts in advance where possible: 

• ChatGPT (or equivalent AI tool) 
• Canva 
• Google Analytics / Google Search Console (if applicable) 

These training workshops will be delivered by Content Plan through Leitrim Local Enterprise Office.
