Businesses from Cavan, Louth, Meath and Monaghan are invited to attend the launch of the North-East Lean Network

Lean tools and techniques are helping companies across the globe to address competitiveness issues within their businesses by building the capability of their people to identify problems and improve operations.

The industry-led North East Lean Network will focus on best practices and cutting-edge developments in lean enterprise, operational and process excellence, lean thinking and practices, and continuous improvement.

The launch event will showcase some local industry champions and case studies for lean practice and continuous improvement. Guest speakers and thought leaders on lean enterprise and the value of lean networks will also highlight the importance of peer to peer learning and the success achieved by lean Networks in other regions.

Speakers will include industry case studies (businesses who have developed lean processes will describe their experience of lean), DKIT and WIT (Dundalk and Waterford Institutes of Technology), Enterprise Ireland, and Local Enterprise Offices. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to come along and learn about Lean Supports and how to join the North-East Lean Network.
