Financial Support

Grants

If the business you are starting is manufacturing or is an internationally traded service then you may be eligible for grant support. More information on our eligibility criteria is available here. We provide two main grants for those who are looking to start a new manufacturing or internationally tradable service business. These grants are;

  • Feasibility Grant - For those who wish to conduct market research for a product or service to examine it's feasibility
  • Priming Grant - A business start-up grant available to small businesses within the first 18 months of start-up

Microfinance Ireland

Microfinance Ireland (MFI) can provide loans of between €2,000 to €25,000 to commercially viable businesses that have experienced both formal and informal declines from their bank.
