The Fingal Enterprising Women Network (FEWN) hosted FEWN Elevate on 29th August at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport - a vibrant and inspiring morning celebrating a decade of connection, growth, and community. We were honoured to welcome the Deputy Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Gráinne Maguire, who officially opened the event, followed by warm words from Chief Executive AnnMarie Farrelly, recognising the strength and success of this network over the years. Oisín Geoghegan, Head of Enterprise at Fingal, reflected on the journey by noting that one attendee had been with us since the very first FEWN event ten years ago.

The highlight of the morning was a compelling fireside chat between Caroline Keeling and Sharon Rossignuolo. Caroline was particularly engaging, sharing stories from her early life - including a humorous childhood memory of helping fill fruit buckets at Keelings, only to later realise that other workers were paid by the hour, not by the bucket. The story drew laughter from the audience and illustrated how, even from a young age, Caroline had a sharp sense of value and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Caroline’s broader story - from her early start in business to building a strong leadership approach and commitment to self-care - resonated deeply with attendees. Her authenticity, book recommendations, business advice, and openness during the Q&A made a real impact.

The room was filled with both familiar faces and first-time attendees - a true reflection of FEWN’s growth.

We’ve heard so many inspiring success stories from women in business over the years, and we’re proud to have supported many of them on their path. We look forward to even more stories, stronger connections, and new collaborations in the years ahead.

Because together, we thrive.

As we close this chapter and look ahead, the spirit of FEWN remains stronger than ever - rooted in connection, driven by ambition, and powered by community.

We’re excited for what the next ten years will bring - new faces, bold ideas, and continued support for women in business across Fingal and beyond.

Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just joined us for the first time, thank you for being part of the journey.

The best is yet to come...

As Rose McGahan, Senior Enterprise Development Executive in Fingal, said: ‘Here’s to the next ten years of connection, growth and shared success.’
