The Fingal Enterprise Awards competition is organised annually by the Local Enterprise Office to acknowledge and highlight the achievements of small businesses. This is part of a national competition in which one overall winner from each of the 31 Local Enterprise Office areas will compete for the National awards. The competition is open only to businesses that have received financial support or investment from Fingal Local Enterprise Office (grant assistance).
The closing date for applications in the Fingal competition is 5 p.m. on Thursday the 31st January 2020.
Following an assessment of eligible applications, a shortlist of Fingal applicants will emerge to the judging phase. Each of these finalists who complete the full judging process will be awarded a €1,000 prize for their business, with the overall winner securing the top prize of €5,000 to be invested in their business.
The Fingal winner will be announced and presented at an event in the Atrium, Fingal County Hall, to be held on the evening of Thursday the 5th March 2020.
The Overall Winner will go forward to represent Fingal at the National Finals to be held in the Mansion House, Dublin, in May 2020.
Entries will be judged in accordance with the national guidelines (marketing strengths, financial strength, innovation & technology, entrepreneurial skills, and business plan). It will be essential that all shortlisted candidates make themselves available for the judging process to include a pitching event and the Fingal Awards event on the evening of Thursday 5th March 2020.
