Applications Now Open for 2024 Fingal Enterprise Awards Competition
The Fingal Enterprise Awards competition is an annual event organised by the Local Enterprise Office with the aim of recognising and showcasing the accomplishments of small businesses. This competition is part of a nationwide contest where a single champion from each of the 31 Local Enterprise Office’s will compete for the National awards.
The competition is open to internationally trading or manufacturing businesses that have received grant assistance from LEO Fingal in either of the following categories:
1. Measure 1 Financial Support
2. Exporter Grant (“Technical Assistance for Micro Exporter”)
The deadline for applications in the Fingal competition is the 12th of January 2024. Following an assessment of eligible applications, a shortlist of Fingal applicants will progress to the judging phase. Each of these finalists who complete the full judging process will be awarded a €1,000 prize for their business, with the overall winner securing the top prize of €5,000 to be invested in their business.
The Fingal winner will be officially announced and honoured at an event scheduled during Local Enterprise Week 2024. The overall winner will then represent Fingal at the National Enterprise Awards, taking place at the Mansion House, Dublin in May 2024.
Entries will be judged in line with the national guidelines (marketing strengths, financial strength, innovation & technology, entrepreneurial skills, and business plan). All shortlisted candidates will be required to make themselves available for the judging process which includes a pitching event at the Fingal Enterprise Awards ceremony due to take place during Local Enterprise Week in March 2024.
