The Green Economy: What's in it for your business?

Sustainable Business and Green Economy Panel

As part of Dublin Climate Action Week 2021, Fingal County Council are hosting a Sustainable Business and Green Economy Panel on 15 September at 4pm.

The online event will be hosted by Aoife Sheridan, along with representatives from LEO, Fingal Chamber and LEADER. There will be four panelists on the day who will discuss sustainable business matters, the green economy and answer any questions.

The event aims to raise awareness of sustainable businesses, the green economy, Fingal County Council’s Sustainable Fingal Initiative and the funding streams available to small businesses. It also aims to encourage engagement with Fingal County Council, LEADER and LEO on sustainable business matters.

Sustainability might sound like a challenging objective for a small business, but it has so many benefits. It can lead to resource efficiencies within a business and generate valuable cost savings to a business’ bottom-line. A green business approach is crucial for businesses looking to maintain resilience in a competitive and challenging business environment and it is even more important for businesses looking to expand and flourish in a world with diminishing resources and increasing environmental constraints.
