You’re invited to join a special Weekend Food Starter Programme happening over two Saturdays, open to all participants who fall under any of the four Local Enterprise Offices in the Dublin region: Fingal, Dublin City, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, and South Dublin.

Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm (attendance required both days)

This is the only weekend edition of the Food Starter Programme offered this year, ideal for pre-start or early-stage food producers (within the first 24 months), and designed to accommodate those with weekday commitments.

The programme covers:

  • Validating your food product idea

  • Understanding Irish food market trends

  • Food safety essentials

  • Choosing the right route to market

  • Costing and managing finance

  • Branding, logistics, and funding supports

Delivered by James Burke & Associates, this training offers practical insights for anyone aiming to build a food business selling through shops, markets, or distributors.
