Top Talent Triumphs: PRM Assist Limited Claims Enterprise Award!

Fingal Enterprise Awards 2024 Winner

PRM Assist Limited based in Dublin Airport has been named as this year’s winner of the Fingal Enterprise Award for 2024, Local Enterprise Office Fingal (LEO Fingal) has announced.

PRM Assist took the top prize of €5,000 and will progress to represent Fingal at the National Enterprise Awards which will be held at the Mansion House in Dublin on 23rd May. Categories this year include ‘Best Export Business,’ ‘Best Start-Up’ and ‘Innovation,’ along with “One to Watch” and a “Sustainability / Green” award in addition to eight regional awards.

PRM Assist is a global leader in innovative Passenger with Reduced Mobility (PRM) services within airport environments. Their solutions include PRM Connect, a groundbreaking API for seamless accessibility bookings; PRM Assist Portal, offering comprehensive data analytics for efficient operations; and a user-friendly mobile app empowering passengers to request assistance and engage with airports. While focusing primarily on the UK and Ireland, they have expanded into the Middle East and plan to reach the US, Canada, and beyond. PRM Assist's vision is to revolutionize the PRM service industry, utilizing technology to enhance accessibility and create an interoperable communications platform, fostering collaboration for a seamless travel experience.

Several Fingal based Firms have achieved success in the National Enterprise Awards over recent years. Last year, Cream of the Crop scooped the Green/Sustainability Award In 2022, Fingal winner Farmony, clinched the Dublin Region award, while other previous National Winners from Fingal included Kianda in Blanchardstown, Keoghs Crisps in Oldtown, Hope Beer in Howth, flight simulation company “Simtech Aviation”, as well as software companies “Vromo” and “IFS Ltd.” from Dublin 15.

The Fingal Enterprise Awards were held as part of Local Enterprise Week which features hundreds of events across the country, run by the 31 Local Enterprise Offices from March 4th to 8th.

Four other Fingal businesses were also shortlisted this year: Carol Kinsella Chocolates (Carol Kinsella and Sean Kinsella ,Kinsealy Dublin 17), Lumineire, trading as Elite Woodworking Machinery (Paula O’Connor, Clonee Dublin 15), Silvertop Ltd trading as QBM (David Butler and David Fitzpatrick, Baldoyle, Dublin 13) and Thorn Environmental Ltd (Adam Thorn, Ballycoolin, Dublin 15).

Announcing the winners and presenting the awards at the ceremony were Deputy Mayor of Fingal Cllr Grainne Maguire, AnnMarie Farrelly (Chief Executive of Fingal County Council), and Oisín Geoghegan (Head of Enterprise, Fingal).

Congratulating the winner, Deputy Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Grainne Maguire said: “Our Local Enterprise Office has been a steady supporter of businesses in Fingal throughout the years. The Enterprise Awards hold particular significance as they highlight and celebrate some of Fingal's most exceptional entrepreneurs. I am delighted to see that this year’s Fingal winner, PRM Assist will represent Fingal on the national stage in May and I wish them every success.”
