National Women's Enterprise Day: 22 & 23 October

National Women’s Enterprise Day aims to encourage more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs. The event consists of a variety of developmental support actions, including inspiring speakers, information provision, exhibition of state supports for enterprise, facilitated business networking and one to one business mentoring. 

Event Information

This year NWED 2014 will take place 22 & 23 October and aims to inspire, motivate and support women across the country in running their own business.

The event will be held in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, Galway.

Keynote speakers at this year's event are Fiona Stack, CEO, Radio Kerry and Leonora O'Brien, CEO & Founder at Pharmapod Ltd.


Advice, mentoring and networking are key elements of National Women's Enterprise Day with a panel of experienced mentors available.  Successful businesswomen share their experiences with start-up companies and fledgling businesses.
