SMEs countdown to Ireland’s Largest Enterprise Week

Fingal Enterprise Week SignAs local businesses gear up for Fingal Enterprise Week 2014, Local Enterprise Office Fingal is encouraging business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to secure their bookings before the programme of events kicks off on Monday, October 6th.

Fifteen business seminars and networking events will take place across the region from 6th to 10th OctoberBusiness advice clinics and an opportunity to meet a range of government agencies will also be available during the week. Fingal Enterprise Week 2014 aims to cater for start-ups, student enterprise and established businesses and will give local SMEs and entrepreneurs the opportunity to gain insights and support from industry experts, key agencies and the business community. 

Some events are now fully booked and others are booking out fast, it is recommend that business owners and entrepreneurs act quickly to secure their place at the events that still have places open. 

Monday 6th October

Future Tech Trends’ Featuring predictions from Google’s David O’Mahony, Andy O’Donoghue of Beaumex and John Beckett from Eirtight Technology, on what technology trends will impact on business life in 2015 and beyond.

Tuesday 7th October

Strategic Thinking’ Nicola Byrne, co-founder and Chief Executive of 11890, will talk about making hard business choices at a breakfast seminar on Tuesday, 7th October

Food-On-The Move’ This Dublin Food Chain event, in association with the Dublin region Local Enterprise Offices, Bord Bia and Irish Exporters Association aims to help those in the food industry that are interested in breaking into new markets.

Wednesday 8th October

Fingal Start-Up Day  A full day tailored to the needs of those in the process of setting up a new business, expert advice and practical information will be available to the participants, alongside insights from Sonya Lennon, a tech fashion entrepreneur.

Thursday 9th October

Success Leaves Clues will be hosted by Newstalk Broadcaster Ian Guider and will feature Keynote Speaker, Sean Gallagher. Sean will be sharing business lessons learned both from his own experience and that of Irish entrepreneurs around the country. It will also be an opportunity to meet the Fingal Enterprise Award winner for 2014 and the Winners representing Fingal in the €2million ‘Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur’ competition.

Friday 10th October

Get Noticed: Branding, Communications and PR for SMEsExpert Terry Prone of The Communications Clinic will host this interactive morning of presentations, discussions and Q&A with some of Ireland’s leading PR, Branding and Communications specialists.
