Local Enterprise Office Fingal is delighted to announce the launch of Fingal Business Network with LUNCH AND LAUNCH, on Tuesday 27th September. This event is a unique opportunity for you to expand your contact network, learn from our expert speaker Paul McNeive and enjoy facilitated networking with the one and only Noel Davidson, along with a quality lunch.

Fingal Business Network is a new networking platform so you can:

  • Attend quarterly in-person business networking events;
  • Share experiences with like-minded owner/managers of SMEs and start-ups;
  • Make valuable contacts with people that can open up new opportunities for you;
  • Learn how you can run your business more effectively;
  • Hear from key business experts and special guests, larger corporates and state agencies;

Fingal Business Network is open to all sectors and is funded by Local Enterprise Office. Themed Networking events will take place in accessible Fingal locations and will feature expert and intriguing guest speakers that will provide the benefit of their experience and their wisdom to participants.

The inaugural Fingal Business Network meeting is a lunchtime event taking place on Tuesday 27th Sept in the newly refurbished Runway 28 Suite at the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport.

Come and join us to meet with your fellow Fingal Entrepreneurs & network with your peers, hosted by the team at LEO Fingal and facilitated by Noel Davidson of the Entrepreneurs Academy, we are delighted to be joined by our speaker Paul McNeive who will brief us about the importance of networking on his personal journey.

We will also have plenty of time for networking and mixing with fellow Fingal entrepreneurs over a quality finger food buffet lunch.

Noel Davidson has over 30 years of experience in person-facing roles in a number of industries including confectionary, hospitality, horticulture, retail and leisure. Noel became a sole trader straight out of college after completing a Diploma in Horticulture and founded his first company; Leisurescope Ltd which specialised in Golf Course design and Construction.

Noel moved into various careers roles including Sales and Marketing Distribution for Power Supermarkets, a Yacht Broker with BJ Marine and Digital Product Lifestyle Manager and Buyer with Sigma Telecom and Apple.

Noel joined the Entrepreneurs Academy (formally QED Training) in 2010 as an associate trainer while also founding a Digital Content creation and management company; Mediagasmic. Noel subsequently became Director of Training with the Entrepreneurs Academy where he is at the forefront of all the programmes that we deliver.

Paul Mc Neive is a chartered surveyor and was managing director of Hamilton Osborne King when the firm was sold to Savills for €50m. Paul started his career as a trainee in the basement of the firm and not even the loss of his legs in a fire prevented him from rising to the top position to lead 250 staff.

Paul is now a sought after Motivational Speaker and works on business development with several leading companies. His autobiographical book on business and motivation “Small Steps” is a bestseller. In “Small Steps” Paul passes on the lessons in positivity, motivation and goalsetting which he learned in rehabilitation hospital and which he has used to prove that “Everything is Possible”-for example becoming the first double amputee in the world to gain a helicopter pilots license.  Paul's first thriller "The Manhattan Project" (2018) is a bestseller and is published around the world.

Paul writes a weekly Opinion Column for the Irish Independent, has been profiled on The Late Late Show and is interviewed regularly on t.v. and radio. He serves on the board of The National Rehabilitation Hospital and has ambassadorial roles for The National Burns Hospital and The Douglas Bader Foundation.

Paul is a passionate speaker on customer service and his unique classification of people as types of birds ensures that everyone remembers his message – “Make ‘em feel special.” Paul is a rare breed as a Motivational Speaker from a background of professional services - with over 30 years  experience. He is also an experienced speaker on client development, selling, leadership and winning pitches.
