Summer is here, and September may feel a little while away yet.
But we all know how quickly the calendar fills once the back-to-school energy kicks in, routines return and business activity starts to ramp up again.
So here is one small thing you can do now that your future self may thank you for.
Join us for the next Fingal Enterprising Women Network (FEWN) event, Life’s A Pitch, on Friday, 11 September at the beautiful Portmarnock Resort Hotel.
Hosted by Local Enterprise Office Fingal and facilitated by Sharon Rossignuolo, this energising and practical session is designed to help you feel more confident, clear and impactful when talking about yourself and your business.
Because the truth is, life really is a pitch. Whether you are introducing yourself at a networking event, meeting potential clients, sharing your business story, applying for support, presenting an idea or simply explaining the value of what you do, being able to pitch clearly and confidently makes a real difference.
Our guest speaker, Catherine Moonan, owner of Communication Matters, is the author of The Pitch Coach and Life’s A Pitch. Catherine was also the Pitch Coach for the Irish television series Dragons’ Den, where she coached over 500 contestants and helped them secure over €5 million in investment.
In this practical workshop, Catherine will help you explore how to:
- Understand your audience and tailor your message
- Structure your pitch into a simple, engaging story
- Deliver your message with confidence and impact
- Use your body language, voice and words more effectively
