This practical two-part programme is designed to equip SME owners, entrepreneurs, and early-stage businesses with the essential knowledge and tools to confidently navigate legal and financial responsibilities.
Participants will gain clarity on choosing the right business structure, understanding their tax obligations, and managing records efficiently, while ensuring compliance with Irish regulatory requirements.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
- Understand key legal considerations when starting and structuring a business
- Identify the most suitable business structure based on their needs
- Navigate tax registration, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Understand personal and business tax obligations, including PRSI and USC
- Manage financial records in line with Revenue requirements
- Confidently use tools such as ROS for tax returns and submissions
- Recognise key deadlines and avoid common compliance pitfalls
