How to use Canva to design eye-catching graphics for your website and social media posts

This training course will explain how to use Canva (the free version) to:
- Design your images from scratch covering how to crop, add text, animate the text, add your logo, create branded backgrounds, using shapes, frames and effects.
- Also how to adapt the thousands of professionally designed templates for your marketing.
Who is this course suitable for?
- You don’t need to have any experience of editing images. However, you must be comfortable using a laptop and also using mobile apps.
This programme is not for digital marketing trainers/consultants or website designers.

How to design graphics starting with a blank canvas
- How to resize and crop your images and add your logo
- How to add very professional looking text and how to animate the text
- How to remove and replace the background from your product or staff images even if you don’t have the pro version of Canva
- How to create backgrounds that match your brand colour
- How to design images that are square, portrait 9:16 (for stories and reels) and 16:9 video thumbnails
- How to add images and videos to frames
How to adapt Canva Templates
- How to search for and find Templates. How to filter.
- How to adapt Templates with your images and text.
How to use the latest AI features in Canva
- Demo of lots of the latest AI features Canva have introduced to make designing your graphics easier
Course Methodology:
This is a 3-hour LIVE online course which you can attend from your home or office using a PC / MAC / Smartphone or tablet (you will need to be able to hear sound either through speakers or headphones but you do not need a webcam). Please note that the larger the screen you use the better the experience will be.
