The workshop will be delivered in two modules over two days, Thursday 7 & 14 October.

• What are the most popular formats and genres?
• Understanding audio and how to record and edit it
• What hardware and software do you need to get started?
• Setting up a room suitable for recording

Module 2: 14 October

• How to use this technology
• How do you find and tell audio stories?
• Tips on how to shape an interview
• Editing demonstrations and exercise
• How do you release and host your podcast?

Workshop covers users with different smartphone devices - IOS (iPhone/iPad), Android - (Samsung/Nokia/HTC/Tablets) & all desktop computers.
