In this 5 week course, Shopify employees will walk you through the basics of getting set up on Shopify and working towards your first sale using our online platform. Thousands of businesses from all corners of the world achieve long-lasting success on Shopify, but they all started the same way, with opening up an account on our platform. This course is designed to give participants a head start on Shopify and learn from those who work with the system day in and day out.

This training aims to provide participants with the knowledge to build a successful online store using the Shopify platform. It will provide participants with all the tools necessary to build a successful online business or include an added strand to their existing one. Areas Covered:

• Understanding Shopify and what it can do for you.
• Getting Started on Shopify - Adding Products & Settings
• Designing your Store - Learn how to design your store
• Using Social Media and Marketing with your Store
• Managing Your Store - Customer Service, Shipping, Taxes and Fulfilling Orders, Refunds and how to get paid.
• Customer Support - Learn about the support, resources and people who are available to help you 24 hours of the day, 7 days of the week.

Each training day will kick-off at 8.00 am to recap the previous week with the training itself starting at 8:30 am. Each training day will last between 3.5 and 4 hours and finish up around noon.

If you are looking to take your business online, this is the course for you. All participants will receive access to the Shopify platform for free for the duration of the training with the aim for participants to be ready to launch their business online in advance of the festive season if they so wish.
