Speaker No. 2 - Joe Leddin, Mid-West Regional Skills Forum

  • Springboard Courses - delivered by Higher Education Colleges at levels 6-9 and are funded between 90-100%. All courses are short term and flexibly delivered to suit employees looking to upskill.
  • Skills to Advance - courses between Levels 4-6 are delivered by Education & Training Board (ETB's) with 80% funding discounts available
  • Apprenticeships - a total of 72 apprenticeships now available to hire or upskill existing employees with €2,000 employer grant available
  • Explore & DigiEco - 100% funded short training programmes to help micro enterprises upskill in both digital and green skills
