This two-part live online course will explain what you need to know in order to advertise on Facebook and Instagram. NOTE: It is important to attend both sessions to gain full benefit.
- This course is delivered over two sessions Friday 17th & 24th April.
- The first half of this comprehensive course will provide you with a good understanding of how to advertise on Facebook and Instagram using the Ads Tool, how to target ads with the Ads Tool and how Meta’s system now place a lot more emphasis on AI targeting (Advantage +).
- The second half of the course will look at how to run the ad campaign – by turning a previous post or Reel into an ad or creating an ad from scratch using an image or a video.
- We will also look at campaign insights in more detail and how to design your ad.
Course Content
Part 1:
- Overview of where your ads can appear
- Why you should use the ads tool rather the Boost post button
- How to get to the ads tool (And why you might find it tricky to find)
- There are now 2 ways to target your ads
- a) AI using Advantage +
- b) Switching to original audience options
In the course you will learn these options in detail and how Meta ads have changed over the past year and now there is more emphasis on AI using Advantage +
Part 2:
- A helicopter view of How Meta ads work in 2026 and the increased usage of AI systems and the importance of creative in your ads
- How to turn a post into an ad using the Ads tool.
- How to create an ad from scratch using an image (not using an existing post)
- How to create an ad from scratch using a video
- How do you then monitor your campaign to see how each campaign is performing
Course Methodology:
This is a 6-hour LIVE online course delivered over two 3-hour sessions which you can attend from your home or office using a PC / MAC / Smartphone or tablet (you will need to be able to hear sound either through speakers or headphones, but you do not need a webcam). Please note that the larger the screen you use the better the experience will be.
Who is this suitable for:
- This is suitable for you if you already use Facebook and you are using a Facebook business page for marketing. You do not need to have an Instagram account for your business.
- This is not suitable for people who do not have a Facebook business page and are unsure how Facebook works e.g., Beginners.
- This programme is not for digital marketing trainers / consultants or website designers
