A fast-growing wellness beverage company from Fingal is set to compete with the country’s best small businesses as one of the finalists for the National Enterprise Awards taking place next week.

Now Coco will represent Local Enterprise Office Fingal at the prestigious awards, which take place on Thursday 18th June in the Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin.

Founded in 2022 by Marti Nulty and based in Ballyboughal, Now Coco produces premium sparkling coconut water blended with real fruit juice and no added sugar, offering a healthier alternative in the soft drinks market.

Now Coco has quickly established a strong retail presence across Ireland and is now expanding internationally. The business has achieved significant year-on-year growth and is positioning itself as a strong contender at this year’s National Enterprise Awards.

Marti Nulty, Founder of Now Coco, said: “We’re incredibly proud to represent Fingal at the National Enterprise Awards. Building Now Coco has been an exciting journey and it’s great to see such strong demand for healthier, more natural drink options. The support from Local Enterprise Office Fingal has played an important role in helping us grow, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our brand on a national stage.”

This is the 26th year of the Local Enterprise Office initiative, which was won last year by health tech business SPRYT, supported by Local Enterprise Office Monaghan.

This year there is a wide variety of finalists competing for the title of National Enterprise of the Year, spanning sectors from food and drink to software, health, AgTech and consumer products.

Peter Burke, T.D., Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, said: “The National Enterprise Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the very best of Irish entrepreneurship. The range of businesses shortlisted this year highlights the strength, diversity and ambition of enterprise across the country, with each finalist demonstrating the potential to grow and succeed internationally.

Oisín Geoghegan, Head of Enterprise at Local Enterprise Office Fingal, said: “The National Enterprise Awards highlight the very best of small businesses across the country, and we are delighted to have Now Coco representing Fingal this year. The company has demonstrated impressive ambition, innovation and growth in a highly competitive sector. Marti and his team are building a strong, scalable brand with real international potential, and we wish them every success at the national final.”

Local Enterprise Office Fingal has enjoyed strong success at the awards in recent years, with a number of local businesses achieving national recognition, including CozmoTec Ltd in 2025 and PRM Assist Ltd in 2024, reflecting the strength of entrepreneurship in the region.

The finalists compete for a total prize fund of €80,000, with categories including Best Start-Up, Best Export Business, Innovation, Digital, Green and Female Entrepreneur awards.

The National Enterprise Awards are one of a number of initiatives run by the Local Enterprise Offices to support and develop small businesses across Ireland.
